This is a really stupid question for someone (like me) who knows nothing about MP3 players
how do you download things to them and what is/are it? The juice box my son got can use downloaded things onto an MP3 player thingy and I do not understand how it works.

Have you heard of the Apple Ipod? It is the same thing. An MP3 is the type of file fomat the music is in.

I do not know what an IPOD is I know that sounds really stupid. All I know is it is a media thingy. The juice box is a media thingy like a video now thing but it also plays music videos and stuff.

mp3s are a foramt for music files. You can download them off the internet. i don't know what a juice box is, & where you get the video etc, that you put on it. You can uplaod music to your computer froma cd, and need softawre to change it to an mp3 file & then can download it to an mp3 player.
Does this juce box thingy come with software?
ETA: ok , I looked on Amazon: there is a juice box mp3 starter kit & that apparently has the software & cables you need to download songs to it.

no but you can buy video clips for it and the advertise you can download so I figured I would do his favorite ones for him.

okay, I went to amazon.com and i got this to help 'Its Like A Ipod And Videonow Mixed Together! ' but if I buy this thing to download stuff, where on the internet can I find stuff to download?
