this is an emergency!!!

i've been going to the same hair stylist for like the past 6 years. i just called to make an appointment with her and the receptionist told me she no longer works there!!!!!

she kinda implied that there was some drama and she decided not to come back. she's supposed to do my hair for my wedding and now i dunno what to do.

i made an appointment for a haircut with someone else but i don't even want to get one!! i just wanna find out the juice. she's the only one i trust with my hair...especially on my wedding day!!!!!!

Call and tell the receptionist that. Ask for her phone number, or ask the recept. to call the girl for you and let her know you were looking for her. Or get her full name and look her up!

NO WAY- not when you booked HER for your WEDDING DAY!!!! i think you DEFINATLY should call the salon and ask for her # or for them to contact her. that is NOT right that she left you high and dry!!!!

If I were you I would be pissed!! I would def try to get her number because this isn't just a haircut this is your fuc**** wedding....they need to do something about this..What kind of place is to run a business screwing clients..especially good ones

You are right. I receptioned at a salon while I was in college and unfortunately that is the policy of most places. It's doubtful that a receptionist who is in many cases the manager is going to give you the new info. You can try bc you are in a different situation.

BUT most stylist skeep their clients contact info and contact their clients once they get settled into a new salon.

Worst case scenario...we're all here to give you recommendations for other hair stylists. Good luck!

Maybe it's for the best though... I have an amazing hair cutter I can recommend you to and there are so many phenominal vendors on here for wedding day styles.

My hair cutter that I can NEVER say enough about is Steven (the owner) of Sivana Salon in St. James on Lake Avenue. 631.584.2408. He is fantastic and consistently gives me the best hair cuts I have ever had!!

OK, now as for your wedding day... Sarah and Bridget Rock are great, Jenn the hair genie is great, Maria at Concours D'Elegance, Serenity Bridal (all vendors on here)... so, I know trials suuck azz and everything but trust me- it might have happened for a reason!! Try and think positive!! Plus, any of these stylists come TO YOU and will do your whole BP-- they also offer group rates and their prices are GOOD!

If you just love love love the salon hair person doing your wedding day hair ask Steven to recommend someone at Sivana OR try Eileen at Cactus in Northport- my FSIL swears by her for up-do's.

Dude, that happened to me. I'm devastated as well. And they wouldn't give me his new info. So I'm high and dry, and stuck. But....make-up and hair have been my hardest to book anyway. Good luck sweetie. I'm in the same boat.
