I dunno if I can be the patient bride and just wait months for my proofs. I guess it doesnt really matter now that Im a month away does it?

Oh man!!! that stinks...

I don't know what I would do... the crazy yelley in me thinks I would go sit in front of their door until they gave me my proofs.

me too! i mean i love their work but from the looks of it i probably wont get anything back until september/october

My fsil still has not gotten her albums yet- her 1 year annv is June 24-- but her problem was that she had to wait and wait for her mom to pick out what she wanted in her album- we only got our thank you cards last month- I would have been all over that guy after 8 weeks if i did not have anything

she doesn't want to be 'that bride' but these people are not doing her a favor -- they were paid for a service! Asking for the product you paid for does not = screaming and stomping your feet.

don't be nervous! Booking 12th night I knew about their tendency to take a little longer with the proofs and I was ok with that. However, come november of 2008 I may be singing a different tune. Back to the topic! I don't think it would be a big deal to e-mail or call him asking for pictures for your thank you, that's really what I am most worried about. Of course I want to see the proofs ASAP but I'm most concerned with having those thank yous out!

One of the brides on that post is my FSIL; she has been VERY patient but I know this is killing her; I can tell every time someone asks her about her pics (which I am guilty of, but now feel bad about!) I think all those girls have the right to keep calling. I am disappointed in them b/c I was in the wedding and the day of they were great with us; I was going to use them but we wanted to see the pics first, but as time went on and she didn't get her pics, we ended up going w/Patken who another friend used...We did see her Thank you card pics and they were gorgeous, so the wait will be worth it!

that is a ridiculous amount of time 2 wait 4 proofs...like someone said they probably over extend themselves. If your contract says you have to wait X amount of time for your proofs you should call them the next day if you havent received them & stay on top of them. They wouldnt want 2 much bad press on this site because they will start 2 lose business.
