Do you get your wedding band and e-ring the same size?
I'm wearing my wedding band first then the ering, but I thought that maybe the ering should be a little bigger since it will be seating on a part a little fatter?? I can't really explain this I guess the best way to put is that the ering will be closer to the knuckle.... Does this makes sense???? or they both should be the same ring size????

Im getting them the same size. my finger looks straight. it doesnt seem to get any fatter towards the knuckle so im going with the same size.

I dont know the answer or what others do but I can speak for myself. Mine are both the same size- I just need to have the balls put on both of them bc they turn... and its better for it to be just a tad bigger for when your preggers

My ering is a 5.75 and my wedding band is a 6. Just the shapes are a little different so the fit was such that I needed the ering a tiny bit smaller.
Go with what your jeweler says.

Not stupid at all, I bought mine both the same size and I noticed when we picked it up that my ering was a little tighter than usual because of what you mentioned. I don't mind because my ering tends to turn on my finger so once I start wearing my wedding band that will stop but sometimes, you are right, the ering may be a little tighter once you add the band.

Mine are the same size. But if you have any worries the jeweler can double check.

Re: This is going to be most stupid..
Depends on what your wedding band is. Personally, my wedding band is an eternity and can't be resized, so my ring finger is a 4.5 and my wedding band will be a 5/5 1/4, gotta leave room for my baby weight, haha

Re: This is going to be most stupid..
wow... This is actually a good point.. my e-ring has been tighter lately and I just assumed the second I got married my whole body expanded!.. Duh.. it is probably because it is higher up now! That makes me feel stupid but a lot better at the same time!!! and to answer your questions, I got them both the same size.

Re: This is going to be most stupid..
Mine are not the same size, my e-ring is really too large for me, so I am having my wedding band fit to my finger - so the size is actually smaller and I had little balls put onto my e-ring to help it stay on my finger better.
No question is stupid!

My wedding band is actually a 1/4 of a size bigger than my e-ring. It was more comfortable due to the shape of my finger.

Re: This is going to be most stupid..
it could depend on the make, thickness, material
FH got two wedding bands, a titanium for everyday and a white gold for dressing up, they were a half size different. But it shouldn't matter where it sits on your finger.

Re: This is going to be most stupid..
They advised me not to get it in the same size. One ring is a quarter of a size smaller...I forget which. I think the smaller one is the e-ring because the band goes on the thicker part of your finger and the ering is what needs to be stopped by the knuckle...but I could be totally wrong.
