This is how I know LIW is bad for my health

Well, it's at least bad for my brain.

I am at work, where I have no access to outside internet, and I overhear two co-workers talking about 'Alyssa' and 'Jackie'

And my first thought (before my morning coffee) is when did Alyssa and Jackie start working here, and why are my co-workers talking about them... how do they know about their wedding?

Then I realized I was at work, and I don't actually LIVE in the Long Island Weddings message board, and the Alissa and Jackie they were talking about were my other co-workers.... duh! Not everything is centered around LIW.

To abbreviate we use peoples initials at work and one guy is FH and everytime I see it my first thought is Future Husband

a few times writing emails, texts, and to friends on facebook i've almost written 'eparty' and 'MOH' and 'FH'

I dont think they'd get it..

I hang out with my LIW friends just about every weekend. THey're fabulous.

When I write to my friends I use abbreviations ALL the time and they never have any idea what I am talking about!!!

I was behind a car and they had a bumper sticker that said BHB (Brick House Brewery)...

I was like, DAAAAMMMMNNNN when did they come out with a Brides Helping Brides bumper sticker I gotta get me on!!!!!

lol I love spending time with my engaged friends cause I can say LIW, BM, RH and they don;'t think im nuts!! I always wanna text and use FH and then i realize people dont really know what that means...lol

09er crashing....the best was when I put a to do list post it note on the bathroom mirror with deadlines. One of the lines said 'Take Care of STDs'. My brother was like W T F????

I know! I was talking to my friend (TessMike621) and I was like, I can't wait to get your STD! People prolly looked at us like we were crazy!!!

1. i feel so honored that you thought about me...while at work...woohoo. lol
2. i have issues like Rita, my job uses intials to symbolize banks at my job and we have some like FG, FI, BM etc...i write it and im like ooh flowergirl, fiance and best man lol
3. i emailed my make up girl and said 'i would like to do a trial with you for my e-pics and she wrote back 'what are e-pics' lol oops

I use so much LIW lingo at home that FH had to learn it otherwise he wouldn't know what da eff I'm talking about. now he refers to himself as FH and was asking what he is going to be upgraded to once we get married

I am a nurse....and I see the initials BM alot, in the nurse field its for bowel movement and here its bridesmaid!!! lol It took me a while to distinguish the two apart when I first joined LIW
