update: so I get home and there's a message on the machine from my mom saying how sorry she is for saying that I bore her with my wedding.

is that supposed to erase the hurtful things she said to me? and today wasn't the first time she's said hurtful things.

you guys rock! I am SO glad that I have you to talk to ... and of course, my awesome FH!

I wish I could go back a few months to before we started booking everything.

Now more than ever, I wish we had just eloped. it would have been so easy! not to mention a LOT cheaper!

I am in the same boat as you. I feel like my mother is not interested at all. I always have to ask her a million times for her opinion. I guess it is better than her constantly butting in, but there should be a little more interest as far as she is concerned. She really hasn't helped me with anything.

It stinks doesn’t it? I always knew my mom wasn’t the mushy kind or someone who likes to make a fuss. But I thought that maybe, just maybe, for a life changing event things would be different. I guess I was wrong.
