This is just way tooo much for me!!! (WHINE)

I have almost two weeks until my wedding!! I still have to order programs, find a trumpet player, order shoes, the list goes on and on!! And honeymoon clothes; just don't have any!! In fact, I forgot what summer is actually!!! We are still missing 50+++ RSVP's. I love FH to death but I am so tired. I am sitting here at work for the past week I have gotten nothing done!!! I wanted to take a break and stay home today but FH said, 'Save the days for before our wedding!!!' Um, isn't it now right before the wedding? All my friends have gone on nice vacations and I have worked and planned my wedding the whole summer. I still don't have my casual day proofs!! I have more but I am sure I am boring everybody by now!! Thanks for letting me vent!!

By the way, does anyone know how to post pics from Dell Picture Studio? I have my shower pics, but have no idea how to get them posted. They are on my computer at home. Thanks for any help!!

Awww, I'm sorry your so stressed! My suggestion would be to sit back and just breath, and do take a day off, you're not going to get much done at work anyways being so stressed.

I'm sure it will all come together, even though it really doesn't seem like it will now.

Best of luck to you and congratulations on your upcoming wedding day!

You are alomst there. It hasn't been easy for me either. I think you have to relax, take a deep breath and maybe take on entrire daying without doing any wedding planning. About the shoes, you said you have to order? Why I bought mine in macys and they were pretty and at a good price. the program, I think you can easily print that your self too. not sure what kind of wedding you are having but I can send you my template if you need it. Good luck.

I agree with you -- take those days!!! They will help relax you and give you some time to get stuff done... I know the overwhelmed feeling well.... it'll be okay though!!! Hang in there - you are almost there!!

I am getting married the same day as you and it is like I could have written this post myself. I have so unhappy and tired for the past few weeks. I still don't have the BM dresses fitted cause they just came in this week. I have even started printing programs, my FG dress just came so I hope it fits her. I could also go on and on. My friend at work keeps telling me just to hang in there cause in the end everything that we are worrying about will be fine. That's all I can pass onto you...hang in there, it's almost here and then we can relax. Good Luck!!

I'm sooo sorry that you are stressed. If you don't want to take a day, then call in sick. I'm sure your boss will understand. My boss is extremely understanding lately, and it's because if I need something I do my best to make it up (today I am leaving early, and this morning I got here at 7:30)

good luck!!! and just try to relax

Make yourself a list of everything that has to be done. - then categorize it by things YOU actually have control over !! - take your time and set yourself a goal for each day. 'Tonight I'm going to FINISH the programs and get them totally out of the way'
You'll be fine and your wedding will be beautiful. DON'T make yourself miserable over it - it's your WEDDING it's supposed to be happy !!

Welcome to my world! WIth 10 days to go, tons of stuff to do, I can totally relate. If you need to, take a mental health day- call in sick if you don't want to use personal days. Hey we're brides right before our weddings- no one is sicker than us

If you can't take the time off, or even half a day, make after work a vacation- don't do wedding stuff after work one day or take a weekend with no errends. Get a massage, take a bath, read a book- whatever relaxes you!

Not at all. I have 10 days and people are asking me if I'm excited. Yes, but all I can see is the million of minutia details from now till then and it ptus a damper on teh whole expeirence. But that is planning.

Aww Kathleen

I know that you cannot understand this right now , but trust me that you WILL finish everything you need to do and you WILL have a wonderful wedding.. these last few weeks are the toughest, no past bride will tell you otherwise

I was terrilby sick with stomach pains and migraines the month leading up to my wedding.. my stress level was at its peak and I was hysterically crying ALL the time when I wasn't losing my marbles. DH and I were fighting constantly and felt miserable. I just needed 'ME' time but thought I couldn't afford to take it.

Finally I broke down and called in a 'Mental Health Day' Really, it DID help immensely. Sure I was still stressed, but I just needed even ONE day away from my work environment, my family and even from DH for a little while.

Go for a massage, go for a mani/pedi.. go shopping for somethign frivilous for your HM! Do SOMETHING for JUST YOU and something NOT wedding-related! It'll do you a world of good, I promise

When its finally here and you are getting married, everything will be amazing and your day will be so happy.. this WILL be worth it.. but I know what you are going thru and I know its hard to think this way right now.

Good Luck and FM me if you ever need to talk, or just to vent!

Thanks ladies for all of the and support!! I am actually feeling a little better. In the morning I was soooo overwhelmed and exhausted with all the things I have left to do!! I hate that this stress is taking over all my excitement and joy in getting married!! I always promised myself I wouldn't do this to myself!!

I know the feeling..sometimes I wonder if it was better to have a late fall/winter wedding..that way we wouldn't have spent so many summer days planning for Sept.

I still haven't even done my engagement shoot and we have been engaged for almost two years...I just booked the date for the end of August.

Engagement shoot, what's that? We never got around to having an engagement party let alone a photo session.

It's similar to the casual day photos..The photographer included it in our package and still haven't done it.

Just hang in there, because it will all pay off in a couple of weeks!

(at least that's what I keep telling myself...)
