this is ponderous! wc0143!

Is your avatar quotation from that 'This is Ponderous' song they used to play on WLIR?????

'Then the horns kicked in. And my shoes started to squeak.'

I haven't thought about that song in YEARS!

YES!!! I had FH searching like CRAZY to download for me (he never heard the song and I think is seriously considering leaving me!!! LOL!!!).

I was going thru the website that was posted of all WLIR screamers and when I saw that song, it started me on a quest!! Unfortunately the only thing he was able to download was an updated version!!! But it's better than nothing!!

'Can you SEE what I am saying??????'

There's a new version?!?!? Please tell me where you found it!

If I have time this afternoon, I think I'll go through that screamers list for other old faves. I scanned the list and some of those names really brought back memories (Camouflage! Material Issue! They Eat Their Own!)

It's downloaded on our home computer and I have no idea how he got it (he spent hours!!).

To me the only difference is the 'sound effects' - they just sound a little different and the 'Oom papachucka maka nanu singow.
Meling kapalana wani domo chingpow..
Heddy kapalua cuma jenising tea...
Oomama chucka pana one is now three.... ' voice sounds different too ...

Ahhhh!

My friends and I used to walk around singing that all the time. No wonder everyone thought we were nuts!
