I'm sitting here saying to myself that I can't believe we're already married!!! The wedding is over! WOW! This is really upsetting. I'm reading all these posts, and it really makes me want to do it all over again. The sad part is that I'm sitting here listening to songs from our reception on the computer. I guess I'm trying to relive it in a way! I really miss it! Ladies, enjoy it... it's over way too quick!

I know what you mean. My DH thinks I am crazy because I keep telling him that if I had a chance I would do it all over again. I miss the planning and everything went so fast I can't believe its over. It is kind of a relief though after everything is done with.

Melissa, would you like to come and do some volunteer work with me. One way to get past this is just by helping the other girls here with your expertise....LOL Chin up sweetie.
I am so happy the planning is over, I miss the day, not all the stuff that goes along with it.
Watch your video, look at your pictures!!

Re: This is pretty sad...
I know lots of post-brides feel depressed and sad after the wedding day is over. We put so much heart into the planning that it is hard to let it all go. You might want to consider finding yourself a new hobby such as pottery, exercise class, writing class etc... Just something that you can put your energy into. I know I will start my ceramics classes after the wedding is over. I will need something new to fill up my time.

I have to say I was lucky becuse I really prepared myself for the post-wedding letdown. In the end - I knew it would end, but the thing that makes me happy is knowing that my weddings was just what I wanted. The day was great and I love my pictures -- now I get to enjoy the memories without the stress. Plus I love it when my DH calls me 'wifey'
Also, bear in mind that there are PLENTY more highlights to look forward to in your life. Personally, although I want to wait 6mo - a year to start trying, I know I'll have a blast planning for a baby! Between picking names, baby showers, decorating a baby's room, buying the cute clothes... Then there's the 1 year anniversary...
And if all else fails -- Host a Halloween party, take out your wedding gown & go as a 'bride'...
