This is probably a dumb question (Riviera Maya)
What airport do you fly in to to go there?
And, is the 'Excellence' resort there the former Secrets Excellence?

You fly into the regular Cancun airport and it is about an hour drive (give or take)
and Yes it is the former.

Fly into cancun airport. It's a long drive to the resorts.... but so worth it!!! My fh and i went to the riviera maya last year and it was amazing!!!!
