I called my DJ yesterday to find out when I would get the Zap photos from the wedding and I was told by the receptionist that the CD was mailed out on 10/31/13. I told her that I never received it and she said that it wasn't returned to her and they delete the pictures after 1 month from their system.... YESTERDAY WAS 1 Month exactly. She said she would pull the folder and call me back but I never received a call. I call back today and she made believe I didn't speak to her yesterday. Like, how many people call you telling you they didn't get the pictures yet. She said she is working on searching their back-up to see if they can get copies. I asked her, 'Well what happens if they have been deleted,' her response was 'Lets not think about that right now...' That doesn't sound to reassuring.
How can they mail out a CD and not call me to let me know. They never said they would mail out a CD , just that they would email me the pictures. I never knew they deleted them after 1 month otherwise I would have called a lot sooner. I don't know what to do if they have been permanently deleted?

That's awful! My DJ gives them to you on a USB port at the end of the wedding; this was one of the big selling points. IF they have deleted, they better reimburse you all the money you paid for zap shots and try to make it up to you in some other way. Sorry this is happening :(

That's terrible!!! I hope it gets worked out and they get the pics to you. It seems crazy that they would delete them without getting confirmation from you that you received them.

Thanks ladies. Still hasn't been resolved. Never once did they stress that I should make sure to get the pictures as they delete them after a month. I'm starting to believe that they just said they mailed it out to cover their behind. Blame it on the P.O. and it's not their problem anymore. Something isn't adding up. I'm not sure if I should call again today and see what the status is or wait till Friday.

I think you're right, something strange is going on. If they mailed them out I would think they would insure it just in case something went missing. I would keep calling until you get an answer about what happened to them, maybe ask to speak to someone other then the receptionist about it.

My Dj never called me to let us know they were coming either. They just showed up in the mail at my inlaws one day. It was like 10 days after the wedding or something like that. Hope this gets resolved! Who was your Dj if you don't mind my asking?

Why wouldn't they send them certified mail so they can have proof? I know it's more expensive but it seems silly to send it regular mail with no heads up & not back up the pictures somewhere. Hope they resolved this for you!

After calling and calling and them telling me that someone that was working on it would call me back I was told that my pictures were deleted once they mailed the CD out, which I had no idea as I never received it. They finally told me that they sent their server out to a company to try and retrieve my pictures, which they have made another CD and I can go get tomorrow. I don't know if they were able to get all my pictures. The receptionist told me that they never told my MC (which i believe is part owner of the company) since they wanted to see if they can fix the issue without involving him. She wanted to have someone deliver the CD to me instead of me going to their office... I guess she doesn't want me saying anything while I'm there... Lets see how this goes tomorrow. The company was Satisfaction Guaranteed Entertainment.

I was wondering what had happened with this. I'm glad that thu were able to get your pictures and hope they came out good! I think you should try and contact your mc so they know about the situation an can update their way of doing things so this doesn't happen to someone else.

this. I also think its really fishy that the girl specifically TOLD you not to come in. I feel like something is off with this story completely!

Doesnt sound right! If they are professional enough they should have a tracking number and also they should have a back up of the photos just in case! We left the day of with a copy of our zap shots...

I'm so shocked that this happened! They are a pretty reputable company and then fact that they seem to be hiding it from one of the owners doesn't sit well. I'm really sorry and I hope you get all of your pictures.

I agree! We got a thumb drive the night of our wedding with all of the photos from our photobooth that was provided by our DJ

After you get your pictures I would CALL and speak to the MC and express your disappointment! That sucks she or someone else made a mistake but you need to be efficient in this business.
