I woke up yesterday with a terrible tooth ache in a really deep filling. I'm going to the dentist today but it's most likely a root canal...and my wedding is in 6 DAYS!!!!!!!

You'll be fine!! Even if it is a root canal, it's not as bad as it sounds. They will numb you and give you the gas (if you want it and they do that) and then a root canal is really like drilling a big cavity. You may be sensitive on your tooth for a few days or a week, but not like you won't be eating and fine by the wedding. You will be fine by the wedding! I promise!!!! I've had many root canals ( I have horrible teeth ) and they are not that bad. FM me if you get home later and need some support!!! xoxxoxo

Im SO sorry. Just go and get the work done.
Hopefully its not root canal. Once my FH had the RC he felt better immediatly. He needed one full day to just sit at home and rest.

root canals are usually done in 2-3 visists but after the first one u should feel better..just get to the dentist asap

Having a root canal will be fine. You may be in pain for a few hours after but you will be fine the next day. If they can't do the root canal before the wedding ask them to put a filling in the tooth that has medicine in it. I have no idea what it is called but my dentist did this for me because I had to wait a week for the root canal.

I've had 2 root canals and for me the worst part was the novicane (spelling?). I hate that stuff! You'll be good to go in no time! And like someone already said, the toothache is worse than the root canal.

dont even worry at all. Ive had root canals and you are fine a few hours later. The next day you wont feel a thing at all. Honestly it never hurts while its happening, after your just numb and that same night you wont really be in pain.
Be glad you wont have to deal with pain on wedding day and hm and taking care of now.
Ive even had a root canal once with no novacaine or anything at all and i was still fine by the next day.

Thanks for all the kind words. I've had a root canal before with complications which is why I'm so scared...but I won't go back to the dentist again so I hope this one goes better (if it even needs one). I'm going to the dentist after work...but this is the LAST thing i need right now. Things are so stressful!!!!!!!! There's so many last min. things to take care of I just want to be on my honeymoon already.
