I just heard on the news that someone dumped a newborn baby with the umbillical chord still attached on the front steps of a brooklyn church!

That's horrible. I don't understand why people like this just don't have a freaking abortion. Is it any better to just leave a baby in a dumpster where they can easily NOT be found?
Oh, wait, I just realized you wrote they were left in front of church. I'm just so used to hearing about babies being left in dumpsters. That's just ridiculous, but I hope the baby's okay at least then.

Yes, at least the person had enough 'compassion' (if you can call it that) to leave it somewhere where s/he thought it would have a chance of survival. It just makes me so sad though. Use some flippin' protection! So many people try so hard to have babies and can't .... it's just so sad that people treat babies like garbage.

They were using the safe haven law. Where you can leave a baby at a church or hospital and you can not be prosecuted. At least she didn't kill it.
