FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NEVER POSTED HERE BEFORE THIS IS TO TALK ABOUT ANYTHING! WEDDING RELATED OR NOT...BORED JUST WANNA CHAT JUMP IN A AY HI!! NEED SOME WEDDING ADVICE AND DONT WANNA POST A THREAD ASK AWAY!! EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!

BUT PLEASE..........NO DRAMA...KEEP THAT AT THE DOOR!

FYI..........if you post and then get a message saying the thread doesnt exist just go to the first page and hit reply..........something weird happened with this thread once we hit 100 pages and sometimes the first post of the new page doesnt go thru....if you do this it will post!

i sent them out on the 13th....we got our first one last week - a friend of mine from work - i told him i want to frame it!

Ok...so about 3 months before. I was thinking of sending mine out right after xmas. This way they won't get caught up in all the xmas mail. That should be fine...right?

holy jeez! I didn't notice that!!!!!!!!! Dave just asked me before how many i was up to. When he called from work he asked me what i was doing - when i told him i was laying in bed he was like, but what will LIW do???

i would go for beginning to mid Jan and give and RSVP date of like begnning of March JMO

i think that timeframe is great! Whatever works for you....

Some people say 8 weeks, some people say 2 months...i just wanted them out.....

Im sending mine out in beginning of FEB and utting an RSVP date of april 15th i wan more than a month to get my rsvps and seating charts together

u can send them whenever you want...just a word of advce after seeing my other friednds weddings...a good ammount of people will prob send them past your RSVP dtae lol so id make it a little earlier so you have enought time! and you arent makeing phone calls the week you final head count is due!!! lol

Jess next tme u r on the island u me dave and steve should go to dinner! he would prob like u guys and since u guys are closer to his age than most of my friends he will probobly be more cofortable!

are you guys staying in NJ or are u gonna move back to LI??

That's exactly why i wanted to send them out early & make my RSVP date before Christmas...so i can be calling people (or rather, DAVE can call people) and have plenty of time to take care of that whole thing...

No problemo!!!! We'll be out on the 4th - but that's for a quick dinner with my parents to celebrate my dad's retirement....and then back to jersey...

We will be coming out for our e-pics and to do other last minutey things though! Definitely want to do another dinner with everyone!

ETA: we'll be staying in Jersey i believe...but we come out a lot...normally...we try to come out once a month...
