this is unreal, nwr

As many of you know, we have some major issues with my brother. He physically attacked my parents about six months or so ago. He recently moved back to NY...and all he and my mom do is fight.

This morning he broke our screen door down and the front door, and managed to get himself into the house. He threatened to beat my mom.

NO ONE wants to do anything and no one seems to care. It's just 'don't worry, nothing serious will happen' 'i'm not pressing charges' ETC ETC ETC.

FH just says 'They have to do something. Just go to my parent's house if you're scared.'

I don't understand why no one cares and why no one wants to do anything. Last time something happened I called the police, and once they arrived it was just 'not pressing charges' 'let's just forget it.'

This guy is going to come here one day and kill all of us. I'm terrified and don't know what to do anymore.

wow im really so sorry to hear that!!!

I personally would leave the house and go to your FH's....can you maybe get a restraining order on him for yourself, if your parents don't want to get one??
I would try to make it a point to your parents to address how concerned you are not only for yourself, but for their well being also!!

OMG~Jen, that is crazy!!!! You have to do something~maybe get a restraining order? I know he's your brother but he's gone too far now. Can you talk to your parents and convince them to call police???

35?!?!? I thought for sure you were going to say a teen .. like 18-19.

Can you guys get an order of protection? Is he on drugs or just a violent person? If too personal you can FM me if you want to talk more...
