One of my bm's just called me to ask me if she's supposed to bring a gift to my bridal shower next weekend
I mean...ask someone else besides the bride. My friends are such idiots sometimes

oh..yeah, my showers aren't a surprise...I just can't believe she would ask me about the gift thing.

That is total nerve & has the girl never been to a shower before?!
(my shower won't be a surprise either...don't see the point).

she said she's never 'done this before'..., but a little tact would have been nice. I guess it's nice that she thought about a gift, at least....I just wish she would have thought to ask someone else, you know? she's not exactly good with manners though...thank god I didn't pick her for my MOH - I would have been in real trouble!

Its a shower, of course you bring a gift. Sometimes our friends can really surprise us.
