This is why Gizmo needs a haircut.. GROSS!

So I had a bridal shower today and my mom asked if she could 'babysit' Gizmo while I was there. He was at my moms all day. So I got there to pick him up and I was hugging him, and he was sitting on my lap, and I was walking around holding him. When I put him down I smelled something funny, so I looked down and there was sh!t all over my shirt!!!!
I was so grossed out I ripped my shirt off right there in the living room... I was gagging.. EWWWW. Gizmo's hair is so long that poop got stuck in it. So then I had to throw him in the bath tub and trim his but hair.

what a day

its OK, my mom and grandma were laughing at me too. They were there when I ripped my shirt off and started screaming.

obvisouly the same thing doesnt happen to Dharma, but sometimes if it sticks to her butt she screams bloody murder!!

EWWWWW i remember when that happened to me with my dog i use to have she was a poodle and that alway's happened to her but we bought her to the dog groomery but we gave her a bath that day .

This used to happen with my bichon frise. That's why we get short-haired dogs now! I'll never forget how frustrating it was. Used to always happen on my way to school or when I was in a hurry.... The visual you gave us had me in stitches though. sorry!

Julz, that's too funny!! That's why I check my dogs butts right after they go potty. Don't want any unnecesary skiddage on anything.

oh no -sorry to hear about your shirt, but that really was such a funny mental image! Gizmo probably thinks he's such a little stud, making you rip your shirt off like that!
This happened to me once with one of my Grandmas's cats - she jumped in my lap after doing her business and got some poo on my sweater. It wasn't too bad bc I was able to wash it off right after, but I still felt gross!

It happens w/ my Shih Tzu, Taz. I have baby wipes to wipe his butt (yes, I do that) when necessary and sometimes his paws and mug too! And sometimes I have been late to work b/c he needs a quick butt cleaning in the sink..ewww, thank god his hair is short right now.
