This is why you should be HONEST! (and some dress shopping pics)

I know someone just posted about this yesterday, so I guess this is part two.

Over the weekend I went dress shopping with two of my friends since my mom and sister couldn't go.

My friends were both raving about how they LOVED me in this one dress, but I wasn't too sure about it bc I felt it made my hips look big. They told me I was crazy and it was all in my head. One of them was actually trying to get me to buy it!

My friend finally sent me the pics and I was right - my hips look huge! (I know, I know, they're not horrible - but I def don't think this dress is flattering on me at all!)

This is the other one I liked - but now in pics I don't know if I love it either. I just don't know if it's really 'me.'

So from now on I'm only taking my mom and sister - at least they're brutally honest.

I have had that same situation multiple times.... my friends said oh thats the one. I didnt really love it. Then another time I was alone and everyone in the store ran over and said that was the one. I didn't feel it then either... still haven't matter of fact.

I am an honest person so I will say I don't love #1. It does not make your hips look big though. I just think that there are other dresses, that would really look WOW on you. Dress #2 is very pretty and flattering. I don't know if its a wow .. but I do like it a lot!!!!!

i posted that yesterday...i def like number 2 better....but if you dont feel like its 'the one' and you will feel that...then keep looking...

I'm actually going to be honest here .. I actually like how #1 looks on you, you look like you have a killer hourglass shape..but if you think your hips look big, you are never going to feel beautiful in it..so its a no-no. #2 is very pretty..but it doesn't wow me either. You have a great body so I think most dresses are going to look great on you..you just have to find the one that makes YOU go WOW!

I love the 2nd one!!!! But you sound like me. Once I saw the pics I wasnt sure. Keep looking til you know it is the one but, I really do love #2!!!

I do not think your hips look huge, but I know how it feels to feel self conscious about a particular body part and how it looks in different outfits and like the previous posts said before, if you do not think you look good in it, then you will not feel comfortable.

I really really loooove the second one on you!!!

You look great in both. don't look at the pics, I did the same thing and cried all night and the next morning thinking I got the wrong dress because of the horrible pics. I had to go back the next day with my FMIL and step-mother (my mother and sister helped pick dress). I was finally happy after I had approval of the 4 closest people who would be honest.

Bring your mom back to see the dress in person. The pics never do any good.

i think both dresses r really pretty on u but I really like dress 2! Keep looking if your not sure though. I have't found my dress yet either and everyone tells me when you try it on you'll just know and you wont need much reassurance.
