This just really sucks! -- long VENT

My mom got fired! And it is total age and health discremination!!!! The doctors she was working for think she does not need the 'stress' of working so they 'let her go to help get rid of her stress'. HELLO!!!


My dad was laid off this spring due to the company having huge cut-backs so my mom HAD to go back to work, no choice!

The doctors even had the NERVE to say she had bad daughters for not making her quit and come and live with us. My sister is have MAJOR marriage problems and I'm about to get married. Neither house is a great situation for them to move into.

My wedding is in 2 weeks. Both my parents are now unemployeed and they may have to move into our house during our honeymoon Talk about being newleyweds

My parents are the in their 50's and neither is in bad enough health not to work. The economy is just so bad and my dad has to find a job that pays more then unemployement does to make ends meet.

I'm just so mad at my mom's bosses. Who-- asked her move to California for this job. They used ALL of the savings moving out here and then let her go 2 months later!!!!!!!

Sorry Bride freaking out here. I'm getting married in 10 DAYS!!! This should be the HAPPIEST time of my LIFE and ALL I CAN DO IS WORRY ABOUT MY PARENTS!!!

I don't know if this helps but monsterjobs.com is the BOMB ......I was hooked up twice with 2 amazing jobs. Monster Jobs.Com is by state so they would justy have to put in the state ooh and by the way total lawsuit if it is age descrimination No JOke I work In the Insurance and we get claims all the time for this kind of crap.......Make sure your mom documents any contact with them. And tell them MONSTERJOBS.COM IS GREAT to you.

lawyer lawyer lawyer! She moved for this job and they let her go....the reason was so she wouldnt have stress!!! ???? She needs to do something about that! My inlaws are moving in with us if we get this house. We are getting married in a few months and if we buy this house we have to put in an apartment before we move in. I dont mind, and It will help us out and them, but it is stressfull. My poor FI worried to death about his parents. what can we do? they are our parents. good luck. deep breaths!

OMG I am so sorry!!! I know its natural to worry about your parents, but dont let it take away from the fact that you are getting married!!! Its horrible what happened to your parents, and hopefully they will be able to bounce back and find employment, I'm sorry that you have this stress, but it really deosnt change the fact that YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED to a man you love and you are going on a honeymoon no matter what!! ENJOY IT!!!! I really am soory for your stress however and I hope that your parents are ok!!! Hang in there!!!
