That is so sad and gross. It sounds to me like someone thought they could make some money and realized they couldn't.
Or they did't realize what happens when you put a male and female rabbitt in the same cage!
Why can't people just take the animals to the shelter?

What should we do if we see a bunny that looks to be a domesticated one? Call the ASPCA? There are a ton that keep hopping around the neighborhood, but I have no clue if they’re wild or not.
