I am eight days late and have taken 4 preg. tests, all of which were negative, but for some strange reason I still feel pregnant. All the symptoms I have read you can have, I think I have. Is It possible that my body might not produce the hcg hormone through my urine? Sorry if this is just a dumb question.

Not a dumb question at all. I would honestly see a doctor just to be 100% sure. You can't count on these tests sometimes, no matter how accurate they say they are.
I would go to a doctor. I am a couple of days late myself but that doesn't mean anything. My cycle is so irregular that sometimes I skip a period. In fact I skipped a period for 2 months (this was years ago) I went to the doctor and she said it was a hormonal inbalance. She gave me something to take and then I got my period back.
I would make an appointment with the doctor.

Are you sure you are 8 days late? Maybe your body ovulates late and you are not as late as you think?
What kind of tests are you using? Some test at a high level of HCG. I heard Answer Early, Equate (from Walmart) and EPT are some I have heard are good.

I still say go to the doctor. You will know for sure.
I am making an appointment for one myself. Not because I missed a period, just to have myself checked out and make sure things are ok. Also to know how to figure out ovulation when you have irregular cycles like me.

2003fallwedding, i don't think I would be ovulating. My last period was dec 25th. 28 days later would have been jan. 22. I am going to take another test tom and have my blood drawn.

Is your cycle a regular 28 day cycle? cuz mine isn't so I can never tell when I'm ovulating. That's why i'm going to a doctor. My last period was Dec.26 and I am starting to feel cramps so I think I'll get it either today or tomorrow...so you see what I mean by irregular...i hate that!
