but can someone explain how the limo situation works for weddings? OK so my ceremony/reception is at the same site so I was going to have a limo bring the bridal party to the site. But then at the end of the reception, do you pay for the limo to come back to take the bridal party home or what?

yep, you have to pay for a pick up after the reception

Re: This may be a silly question
i have the same situation, but i'm not getting a limo for the ride home.
The majority of the Bridal party will have a significant other there or a family member that drove to the chapel/hall. I thought it would be a waste to have a limo drive them elsewhere.

That is my issue!
Most of my bridal party will be going home with Significant Others after the reception so it seems like a waste to spend money on a limo to transport just a few people such a short distance.
Maybe I will just get a tiny limo for whoever needs a ride.....

I didn't plan on paying for a limo service. I figured people can catch rides home. FH and I are probably going to get a car to bring us back to the hotel, but I didn't plan on accomodating others. Am I mean??

Haha
That was what I was wondering about me! I was afraid to post cause I didn't want to sound all mean making my bridal party scrub rides to save some $ (but really everyone is so close that I dont see it being a problem for them to find a ride....)

We aren't getting a limo for the way home. We are all staying at a hotel the night before and the night of and they will be offering us a shuttle for the way home.

Re: This may be a silly question
I am using Sir Oliver Limos for a drop off for the wedding party and parents at the Vineyard... we are having the ceremony and reception at the same location. They gave me a GREAT rate!!!! I hired a H2 and an excursion! Then at the end of the night a white stretch regular limo will pick up me and FH. The bridal party and parents will then hop onto the provided transportation by the hotel or drive with a significant other!

I'm with you! Most will have a date there so they can catch a ride with them and for the ones w/o they can hop in the car with those who do! Even if I wanted to get them a limo there's no way I could afford it! Another $500 at this point is like asking for $5000!!

Re: This may be a silly question
Every single person in my bridal party has a significant other or ride home.
