Why do DJs include 5 hours in their package if receptions are 4 hours not including the CH? They don't perform at the CH. Is this for the people who have 5 hour receptions? Sorry if this is a stupid question lol.

Maybe to include set up time? or sometimes people extend their reception an extra 1/2 hour... then if you did that you wouldn't be charged overtime charges? ? maybe? lol

I don't know why they do 5 hours but my DJ was able to knock off a few hundreds since we only needed him for 4 hours.

Re: This may be a stupid DJ question
my reception was 5 hours and that was not including CH so total I had them for 6 hours. They do play music during CH. Plus they always have to get there early to set up all that equipment.
