but what exactly are channa plaques for? i feel so stupid, i mean obviously they are a sign, but are you supposed to do something specific with them? before i started opening the threads where girls talk about them, i thought it was actually a religious thing unrelated to being roman catholic because i never heard of them...and then i'm like soo many girls talk about them, maybe it's something i should know about hahahahaha....

I tought it was a religious thing at first too LOL! Channa is the name of the person who makes them, after the wedding we're going to hang ours in our living room.

Many people display at the wedding..I've seen in different places at different weddings...some at the bride & grroms table, next to cake or card box...I like them and am gettting one and think I will display on mantle at my venue.

I bought one for my BFF for her wedding and she has it hanging in her living room. I got mine on etsy and I believe it ran about $45. Totally worth it, I gave it to her the night before her wedding and she loved it.
Now I have to get one for myself!! haha

i got mine from bosheree on etsy. not sure of the size - maybe 24 ' by 9'? - but all the words fit, so it worked! they are still wayyy backed up so it will take a couple months to get it!

my last name has 9 letters and I got either a 24 by 6 or 24 by 7. My friends last name has 7 letters and I got her an 18 by 6.

I think the 18 inch would be fine for you. I got the 18 by 6 for my best friend whose last name had 7 letters and their first names each had 7 letters. She will send you an image first.
