I just hate all the cruel jokes I've been hearing about him. You wouldn't make up jokes about your mother dying, would you? Its disgraceful. Let the man rest in peace.

Same here.

I just hope that his kids turn out okay and aren't exposed to all of the nasty stuff anytime soon.

On a side note, I went to Times Square yesterday during the memorial and there's a photo in the Post today where you can see me and my coworker in the crowd. Hee hee.

The cruel jokes are mean and completely uncalled for.

All I'm saying is that when you turn the news on when you get home from work or any other channel or the radio it is all they talk about. it is hard to turn it off when it is the only thing on. Let the family, especially the children mourn in peace. Death is always sad but there have been many people in this world who have made huge impacts and contributions to medicine, science, technology and education and we don't ever make nearly a big deal over any of them when they pass.

i completely agree with you. how can his family deal with his death if that's all they see & hear about?? constantly seeing all these reminders about him makes moving on even harder.

ITA...... I was watching CNN.........as they were covering MJ, on the bottom of the screen they were scrolling news about people getting blown up in IRAQ.....Troops being killed in Afganistan! I don't find your post mean at all. Enough is enough! MJ was a remarkable talent, I like his music, I think he was a good humanitarian. R.I.P MJ.........now let's move on!

I loved MJ's music and what not but enough is enough. You can not simply turn off the coverage when it is on every major news station. This is beyond insane now let the dude rest in peace and lets move on. there are so many things that are happening that will effect the country and the world right now and all we care about is MJ.
