This might be a stupid Q about cermony

But I was thinking and I like the idea od the Sand Ceremony thingy instead of the Unity Candle....now my Q is...we are getting married at the RH and would either of these things take place and what do you think ...can I do the Sand???

we got married at the RH and they would have let us do the unity candle or sand. i just broght all the ceremony items in one box and labeled it and let them know when we brought all the stuff in like 3 days beforehand!

im doing a sand ceremony bc its an outdoor ceremony but really im sure you can do either depending on what you want. ive personally never seen it done inside but i dont see why ya cant!

i just bought all my items last night. 3 tall thin pouring cylinders for me, fh, the officiant (to put white sand at the bottom to represent our foundation of faith/spirituality). then we will alternate blue and light brown sand back and forth for a while and then have my FH's son add a layer of maybe dark brown (need to get a mini cylinder for him to pour his sand from) representing our commitment to him and us 3 as a fam, and then FH and me will pour simaltaneously at top. I liked the idea of doing it in an engravable apothecary jar bc we can have it as a pretty keepsake and it will be contained so no spilling and whatnot.
