This might be a stupid question...

But how exactly does a veil attach to your head. Yes yes, I know it's on a comb that goes in your hair. But wouldn't pulling the comb out when you take the veil off mess up your hair?

yes it could.
also they can put the veil on a stick so it just slides out of your hair w/o messing it up. but you cant have the stick if your hair is down.

it could mess up your hair... the person doing my hair will be at the wedding so he will take care of it for me... and make sure nothing gets messed up

yeah i think thats why some ppl leave it on. my hair person said she would show us how to remove it so as not to mess it up!

It def could. And this is something I am currently having an internal dilema about. I know I want to take off my cathedral veil after the ceremony and pics, but I don't know if I should risk taking out the second one too and possibly pulling out my hair or not

since the women doing my hair is coming to the house the day of the wedding i am going to have her show my sister to easily take it out so that i wont mess my hair. hey that's what the MOH is for.

what she said stick is good if your hairstyle works with it and if you plan on taking it out.

otherwise, if the stick doesnt work for your hairstyle, my hair person said a metal comb is better than plastic. at barrons, he said oposite but i trusted what my hair person said since she actually deals with putting in/taking out the veil.

not necessarily. they always have a 'test' veil available to try on with your hair but ask them what kind of thingy is attached to it and if its something you think you want to try on your own veil, then just use that to test it out.

either way, you are going to get a veil and you basically have three options, a metal comb, plastic or a metal stick. if your hair is going to be up, i would just go with the stick.

My hair person told me to get my veil without a comb....just loops. She then used bobbypins to put it in and showed my MOH which way to pull it out. I took it off right after the first dance and no problems with my hair.

I dont have a pic but I bought my veil at barrons and its just the part that the comb is usually attached to has little fabric holes/loops across it.......its very common so if you ask for it they wont look at you like you have 10 heads
