usually the candle manufactures will post burn time, the ones i ordered from internet are actually bed bath and beyond candles and they say they last 10 hours

Votives - they only last 1 - 2 hours....at least the cheap ones I use at home from Ikea do.
maybe there are special ones that will last longer?

NO NO NO there are no stupid questions on here. and yes, you would use tealites. they can last a few hours. for outdoors they even sell citronella ones.

No such thing as a stupid question on here! You can use either. Most manufacturers tell you the burn time on the package. some last 1-2 hours others last 10-15.

Yes, you can use votives, but they last for maybe 2 hours max.

You want to go with votive candles and you can get them on sale and so many different places. I know there are threads about them somewhere!
