are you suppose to put return address on your invite or std envelope.

I think the return address usually goes on the back flap of the envelope...that's what i did for my save the dates...and the company that i ordered my invites from is printing the return address on the envelopes (i think on the back flap as well) HTH!

If your family is like mine and making you invite 'relatives' you've never heard of, you might have a few wrong addresses.

You should def put a return address somewhere on the envelope, this way if you have any wrong addresses they will get sent back to you...otherwise you'll never know if they got it or not until it's too late.

I printed my own addresses so on my STDs I did both the return address and the receiver's address both on the front (to save time and patience ). But if you want to print the address on the back flap.. set up a word doc the same size as your envelope (page setup) and then type the address on the top centered. Then just feed your envelope into your printer so that it prints on that side.
