this might be the dumbest wedding question ever...

ok so when ur photographer says u get all the proofs,how do they come?is it literally like a bunch of pictures or is it put on a disc or dvd?my place says i get all the proofs and i just dont know what to expect...

HAHA my photo will give them to me on a disc, i think. my sister got some e-mailed maybe a disc, but got all paper proofs, just small versions of the pics.

Not a dumb question... completely legit. The proofs may come differently depending on the photographer. Some print them out like 4x6 photos, so do them via CD or DVD and some do a photo proof book (an book with small thumbnails of your proofs). I hope this helps!

Its not dumb Gina!

Take a look at your contract. My MOH got all of her proofs printed with the photographers logo on them. She also got all her proofs online and she or anyone she sent the link to could order pics online but they were sooo much money! It was like $20 a pic. Mine are coming on a CD YAY!

i was looking over thecontract yesterday and thats how o got confused...its says they pick out the best 500 proofs that r printed out and the rest come on a dvd library...thats the normal thing?

i think i was expecting a shoebox full of photos

Not silly! My cousin actually received prints of each and every picture taken at the wedding. My photographer gives us a high resolution disc with all of them but will make prints of all the proofs if we want him to. Each photographer is different. I would just call and ask. :)

well you should double check this becuase they all do it different.. we are doing digital pics, so we are getting them on cds so we can make copies but some places dont want you to replicate the pics and will give you pyshical proofs that you can reproduce

Usually all the prints means that you get the actual 4x 6 pictures and they usually come in a box..

Sometimes photographers will give it to you on a cd as well...

I think we get all paper proofs. Some photographers might give digital proofs.

umm..my photographer actually puts the proofs in a little album so they are not scattered everywhere

it depends on the photographer, if they tell you you will get a DVD, that means you get all pictures on the DVD. If they say Proofs, that means they will be printed and you might have to pay extra to get them on DVD. That's how i interpret it.

Hmmm.. I dont know.. My MOH got a little over 1000 printed. But as long as you're getting all the pics either printed or on a dvd you shoulld be fine.
