This morning on Z100...

...they were discussing 'things that a woman wants to do before she gets married.' Did anyone listen to it?

What are some things you want to do before you get married?

IMO, I don't think there is really anything I want to do before I marry FH. Some people called in and said they want to travel. Can't you travel with FH?

Im laughing because I was going to Post the same thing. I was listening to Z100 this morning also. I thought it was an interesting topic to discuss here.
Before I get married I would like to just pay off my debts so we can start fresh together without debt. I dont think anything else I am very happy with him and cant wait to be married!!!

that would be the one thing for the both of us as well: pay all the debts .
I've been all my life on my own, done whatever I wanted when I wanted. FH too. So, lets get hitched already! We can do it all together, I don't want to do anything without him

ohhhh I've done PLENTY (that's what college is for) I don't feel like there is anything left I need or want to do before I am married!

haha i heard that too and the first women said she wants a 3-some. It was great how they were all soo silent while they were talking.

I think, esp. after going to a bachelorette party this weekend, i've done everything i need to do before hand.
I've partied enough lol.

I heard this too, I was kinda like uhhh why did that girl want to be with another girl 1 month before her wedding!?!?!?

The only thing I could say that I didn't get to do was live alone, I think that would have been nice to do for a year.

Honestly, everything I do, I usually do with FH. There are plenty of things we want to do b4 having children but not so much b4 getting married.

There is nothing I want to do before getting married that I can't do with FH after getting married.

Same here. And if we're talking more so on 'girls nights' I'll still do them even when we do get married. And he'll have his 'boys nights.'

ITA - and I lived it up with my friends from 18-24!

OMG!! I am so glad that other people heard this. There were soooo many things that annoyed me about this lol.

I understand wanting to do things before you have children, but some of the things they were saying before you get married were so dumb. It was like, do you plan on being locked up in a prison with your husband to be?? Why wouldn't you be able to go out with your girl friends, learn a language, etc. if you're married??

That girl who was planning on having s e x with another girl ONE MONTH before she got married was seriously messed up... who does that? Isn't that something you should do before you are in a serious relationship with someone? I consider sleeping with another person while engaged to someone else cheating... don't know about anyone else.

Anyways, for me there really isn't anything I want to do before I get married. I plan on doing fun things with my girl friends, traveling, etc. while I am married..... Z100 annoys me sometimes haha

The one time I went away without FH, I went with my closest girlfriend, and I actually came home and told him 'I wish I had gone with you'...


it just was not the same.
He and I are always on the same page when it comes to vacation.

i feel like I have done everything I have wanted to do, and if there is something that I want to do even once I am married, I still will. I am not being kept underground when I am married....

someone actually said she wanted to sleep with another woman before she is married? Maybe she should have done that before she found a boyfriend....

ITA with you girls, childrend definitely change things, but marriage should not.
