Is a best man required? He is the most indecisive person in the world. And he doesnt want to pick one because 'I' am his best friend and anyone else wouldnt be the same.

Someone needs to be the offical witness & sign the mariage license. It could be to bridesmaids even. Somone has to hold the rings too, and that person would be at the alter with you (if its a church wedding) So, you don't officially need a best man, if you can find a way to accomplish those other things.

A best man is 'required'... because you could do whatever you want. He can choose two Best men, or even a female best man (my FH did that). He could also have his dad, or a family member stand in as a best man.... or just have ushers, and no best man... the possibilities are never ending!

yea - can he have GM and no best man cause i just think he doesnt want to choose among his friends and he his brothers and him arent close

Of course! Go for it. If anything, that's a sweet gesture. And if anyone asks why he's not having a best man, you both can answer 'because he's marrying her'.
