I am SO excited! I hope we walk into one of the places and just fall in love!!
How many places did everyone look at before actually booking?

Started with about 15.. FH actually looked at Jericho Terrace (where we ended up booking)first on his way home from work one day & fell in LOVE but we figured that that was WAY too easy so we looked at probably 8-10 more before we went back to Jericho..
When you have your list of places your interested in.. start by calling- many places will give you a roundabout price if you tell them what dates/seasons you're interested in.. that should help narrow down which places to actually go see if you have a structured budged

That's so exciting!!! I loved looking at the different venues, but I was eager to set an official date. We looked at 11 venues!
What venues are you planning on looking at?

Thanks ladies!!! Wow, everyone looked at quite a few. I was hoping to walk in and book a place this weekend lol probably not gonna happen! I will keep my fingers crossed though. I've emailed a bunch of places already and checked a bunch off my list, I am only going to look at my top choices.
We are going to the North Ritz Club and Jericho Terrace. I've heard nothing but good things about both, so hopefully we love them!! We also have an appt at Woodbury Country Club next weekend, so we will see how it goes. =)

9. Chateau Briand was the last one. We cancelled our 10th appointment because I had made up my mind before I left Enjoy the hunting!

I think we looked at about 12-15 places total. The Watermill was the 3rd I think - we both LOVED it but figured it was totally out of our budget (which it was for our original September date) and moved on. We were going to book a much less expensive place that I wasn't crazy about and FH convinced me to change the date, this way we could have the place we both fell in love with so we did! Honestly seeing venues is the FUNNEST thing in my opinion! Enjoy it!!! :)

We didn't start with as many as you but Venetian was our second and we had the same feelings of it being to easy and quick to make a decision...
Actually booked our dj and photographer the same way... All were the second visited

Good luck!!! You never know, it may not take that many venues to find yours. I did a ridiculous amount of research online before looking at any venues in person,(long engagement made that possible), so I had also checked a bunch off my list. We only visited our top 3 before falling in love with our venue and booking our date. So it is possible! But at the same time I think it would have been fun to check out a bunch? Good luck

We looked at 3 but were sold on the first by the time we walked into the second.
