Don't worry, BoogieDown ... I'm probably in the same boat as you.

I haven't been officially 'warned' at my job, but review time is coming in March and I KNOW they'll start something with me They have nothing better to do!

Which makes me laugh out LOUD, since I still always manage to get ALL my work done, even if I DO goof around on here too much .. unlike some of my co-workers

I truly hate my job and after the wedding I plan on leaving, anyhow.. that's part of the reason I don't care I guess

Heck .. we can always go job hunting together

Glad to hear I am not alone.

But I was put on probation 2 weeks ago, due in part to excessive internet usage (and LIW was mentioned by name). And I’ve been trying my hardest to stay off the internet in general, and LIW specifically, because that’s what seems to bother my bosses the most. So hard to stay away! And I seem to get caught on here even when I come on for just a split second. I really need my job to be secure until after the wedding… after that I am not so concerned.

Felicia, I’d love to go job hunting with ya!

BDB - you seem like me, real unhappy at your job but basically getting the job done. We're involved in planning our weddings for crissakes! I know that I'd still sneak on here even if they did tell me not too! I'm almost offically 'addicted' on LIWs!!

But I know they monitor our internet usage here.. and while I am pretty good at hiding it, I've been 'caught' a few times myself. They are such weasels here that they won't bother to talk to me until my review, at which point I'll just take my lumps as I get them..

This was the same office that gave me AGITA for a month about taking over 2 weeks off for my wedding / honeymoon ... they still give me grief about it. So you get the idea how they operate here?? UGH!!

I also am just hanging on until the wedding, at which point I'm looking to get out of NYC, and hopefully out of lawfirms.
