Just found out through a post in Brides Helping Brides that my BM is leaving this week. No notification or anything. I mean at work if we have an attorney leaving we notify all the clients who the new attorney is. You think that if they knew she was leaving they would have her notify her clients.
Well I guess I'll make an appointment to meet the new BM and go over everything especially verbal things.

If things are not in your contact, they might not honor them (even if she was staying). My experience with WM: BM gave us the tour, drew up our contract and answered any questions as they came up. For Final Menu, I never saw my BM. Meet with Kelly and she went through the contract and all the final choices (cocktail hour and linens). If something is not written in the contact I am not sure what will happen at this pint. For Final Payment, I meet with Joaquin. He went over everything that was discussed at the final menu meeting. We also paid him.
I would suggest you contact your BM ASAP and make sure you get everything in writing. Good luck,

I'm calling WM today to find out who is the new BM and im making an appointment to meet with them this weekend. I also emailed Heather last night regarding something else before I even seen the post. I also emailed her this morning to tell her how I was upset we were not contacted by anyone and the verbal conversations we had regarding certain things that as far as I know are not documented. When we went over the contract I had a list of things I wanted on the contract and she said that on the main things are put on contract I told her well its the paralegal in me that I want it all written down and she said its only for the main stuff the little things they don't go on there. I even asked if I could write it on a seperate piece of paper and she sign off on it and she wouldn't let me. I really like Heather but I think she should of informed all her clients or at least WM notify us all.

All better for now so after leaving messages and not getting a response I called again and asked to speak to Ian and told him of my concerns and I wanted to meet him and go over everything so I'll be meeting him on Saturday. I feel a bit better now.

Sorry, that was me that said she's leaving :( I'm in the same boat as far as promises that weren't on the contract. Please let me know what Ian says. I'm going to try to make an appt to meet with him next week.

This happened to me too! The only way I found out was because I tried to email her, and it got kicked back to me saying that the email address no longer exists. Turns out the entire company was taken over, and the old employees were all cleaned out. I hope they new crew is just as promising as the one that was there when I booked, but no notification certainly did not start me off on the right foot.

Hi Ladies: We met with Ian and he was great. There were a few things that we went over and he explained and I was pleased. Basically Ian said everyone is pretty much taking over for Heather's departure. There is no set person taking the clients. It's just the staff all chipping in. @ Giraffe1210 please don't be sorry. I'm glad you posted it or else we wouldn't have known.

Glad everything worked out. Did he agree to everything heather promised? That's what I'm most worried about. I don't eat anything on their menu and she was going to have something for me in the bridal suite so I don't starve lol

Yes he did but in different terms. For instance their is an upgrade we were doing and she verbally said it would be a certain price but since it wasn't in writing he couldn't honor that price but still worked at it for us. So he definitely works well with you. I'm sure he will make sure you have something in the suite for you to eat to your liking. What I also liked there were decisions I'm not ready to make on everything and he wrote it down for us so when it comes time to go over everything it's there in writing just in case he isn't around. That's what I wanted.
