This stinks

So my e-pics are at 5pm tonight and it is raining. The photographer called me and and asked if we wanted to reschedule and fh said NO. He took half a day off of work for these and he just wants to go and get them out of the way. Hes not a big fan of things like this, but the problem is, now my e-pics are gonna be in the studio with a stupid backdrop as a background. I waited so long for these e-pics and now they are gonna be some cheesy Sears portrait crap. Why couldn't Fh just say we could switch the day.

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, tell your FH to suck it up and eat the half-day.

You're paying for these pictures!!!! (If they're included in your package, you're still paying for them - I don't care what anyone says) Take them on your time! Tell your FH to stop being a pain and suck it up.

i agree that you should try to convince your FH BUT you would not believe how nice some of the studio pics come out

I mean, in mine it is by a fireplace but some of them use a nature background and blur it out a little it looks great

don't worry it isnt like school where they would roll out a picture for the background like for your school photos

When i went to Patken they had like actual fake trees and a whole garden set up - they even had a beach with sand!

PS - i wont tell you to tell FH to suck it up bc i know that MY FH HATED e pics and refused to do them - so when i finally got him to do the INCLUDED e shoot - he was NOT a happy camper and there is no way i could have gotten more out of it SO i totally feel your pain on this one!

I agree. If it's not what you wanted then don't do it. If FH can tell him to not leave work and tell his boss that he wants to take another day off instead.

Also Maybe your hotgrapher will take some pics in the rain. Those pics come out so pretty. Here are a few I have saved.

I agree with everyone - if it's not what you want, don't do it! Like Jenn said, you are definitely paying for the e-pics (even if they say you're getting them for free). Tell FH you really don't want the pics taken in the studio, and since you are (in the long run) paying for the e-pics, you shouldn't settle for something that you don't want. Good luck!

Thank you guys sooooo much. I know what I want, but I do want to take fh's feelings into consideration also. He has allowed me to do anything and everything I wanted for this wedding but he is not a flashy guy and hates being center of attention, so I know how hard this is. Tilde thanks for the support, I guess you know hwere I am coming from. I think I will ask the photographer to maybe take a few outside if its not pouring, and hopefully the rest will come out nice. Thanks again guys

Jess...I thought of you this morning. I totally understand what you are saying about FH. Mine is the same way...he hates taking pictures. But I'm sure the rain will let up a little so maybe you can take some cute pics outside under an oversized umbrella. I'm sure your pictures will be beautiful whether thay are inside or outside.
