My brother is a volunteer on the Ambulance squad, so he heard the dispatcher on the scanner, called out 3 different towns for this man, could not locate him...
ITs soo soo heartbreaking to me. AS my mom told me this morning, all I coudlthink was that poor man TRIED calling for help, but they could not find him...I cannot imagine how it must be to know you are dying, and fighting to get the help there to you.
Sorry, but I have been thinking about this most of the day...its so sad

When my mother was in her early teens, she was walking home from her weekend job in a very bad snowstorm, and she collapsed from a severe asthmatic attack...the police found her and said the snow had covered up most of her, thank god they noticed a purse of a shoe (can't remember) out of the snow.
