My mom just called me and said the malls are supposedly offering amazing sales today to get people to come and shop!!! I am going to try and get FH to go. We went out this morning to bring our kitty to the vet for a check-up and the roads weren't bad. Merrick avenue is just wet. So maybe I can talk him into it!!!

WHAT is up with these online forecasts?!?! I checked commack (where parents are) and BOTH accuweather.com and weather.com said only 2' of snow today, then another 2-4' tonight.

I would love to go shopping today - DH has a truck that is awesome in the snow.
Lori - in E. Northport we have about 8 inches already and its coming down HARD!!!!

i ran out really quick to Michael's to get some crafty stuff and the roads are BAD!!!! Michael's was packed - lots of bored people today!!!

DH unfortunately had to go to work today. I just called and he said they were busy. I can't believe how crazy people are to go out in this weather just for cellphones.

I attempted to go to Borders and Hallmark in Airport Plaza about an hour ago and both stores were closed. I went to CVS at like 9:00 this morning and the roads were definitely worse when I went out at 12:00 compared to 9:00. Be careful girls if you do decide to venture out

fh is going crazy viewing the weather reports and the computer has to stay on so he can continually check the radar!!!!!!
he is telling his family ' i told you so'.. cause he always predicts it

FH and I ventured out to BJ's before, we were bored, and we got some Christmas shopping done there, toys for the kids and some goodies for us. It was actually pretty crowded in there. We got home just before dark, we could barely see 10 feet in front of us. Now I am wrapping everything. Finally have something to do!!
