This sucks.... UPDATED I think I solved the problem....
My FH works 3-midnight on sat. so he had to work on V-day. I made plans with my Best Friend (MOH) since her boyfriend went to vegas for his sisters wedding. Last Night they asked my FH if he wanted to work 8-5 tomorrow so he has off at night now. I ask My Best Friend if she would be mad and neither mike or I would be mad and she wont answer she just says i don't know. I would really like him to go but I made plans with her first.

I know this sounds bad, but can you do both? I mean, can you do an early dinner with FH & then go out at night with her????

Re: This sucks....
I know it's not romantic but can the 3 of you do something. Or maybe suggest an alternate night for you and her to go out really soon.
It sounds like she understands you want to be with FH but she doesn't want to be alone either especially since you already had plans.
It's a hard situation.

Re: This sucks....
I asked her if he can go and she the choice was hers. And I dont think she keen on the idea only cause she will feel like the third wheel. ANd her man is in Vegas which makes it even worse.

Ouch, this is a tough one.
I am one for not disappointing people, so though I might not like this.
I would have an EARLY and I do mean early night with both FH and best friend, and then send her on her way and screw the heck out of my man for the rest of the night.
This way all are happy

So if one of your friend ended up having the opportunity to spend Valentines Day with their FH you would be upset that she wanted to?
I would want my friend to spend it with her FH, why should she have to be with me when she can be with him, just because my SO is not with me.
I would feel too guilty

I see both sides. If I was the friend, I would be really disappointed since I will now be alone on V-day. But I would bow out of the evening and so my friend can spend the evening with her FH/DH.

Re: This sucks....
So sorry Unfortunately I think you should be a good friend and do what you said you would Tell him to work his reg. shift and you two can have breakfast together, or you can celebrate on Sunday.
You shouldn't make her be the 3rd wheel on V-day w/you and your man, and you certainly shouldn't cancel or make her feel guilty. Just pretend in your head that he can't get it off and do what you orig. planned.
This is too short notice, and she won't have time to make other plans. Cancelling on people last minute is kind of crappy anyway, even if it's not V-day.

He already switched his hours but he said he will not be mad AT ALL if we make it a girls night out. He will stay home and watch movies.

Re: This sucks....
I agree with Jennbaby. Why not spend the day with her and then you and him go out at night? If it was my friend that I made plans with and her mate was finally available for Valentine's night, as much as I wouldnt want to spend the night alone, I would tell her to go with him. I think it is only right.
