This Thanksgiving is turning out to be horrible..UPDATE

Last night the basement was filled with smoke and black smoke was coming through the chimney...all due to the oil burner. My mother couldnt get intouch with the company So we had to turn off the heat last night.

She finally gets in touch with them this morning and now they are coming between 8-10.

And now my Grandma isn't coming due to the weather....My mother told her we would bring everything to her house but she said no And who knows when this stupid person from the oil company will come

I am so upset

UPDATE...

WE are going to my FI's for dinner (including my family but not my Gma) My mom thinks she might be sick and thats why she doesnt want us to come Which makes me upset and worried.

We may have our family Thanksgiving tomorrow and hopefully my Gma can come..

Oh and we HAVE HEAT

Oh no! I am so sorry! You had to turn off the heat Ugh, it was freezing last night! I hope this can be fixed quickly and that your Thanksgiving ends up being wonderful

Well they came and fixed it but we still will not see my Grandma today I am upset about that! My family may just go over to my FI's

Hang in there, Kath - hopefully Gma just needs some rest, and your family will be reunited tomorrow - w/ heat.

I'm so glad that it worked out for today and that you have heat! What a great idea to have family Thanksgiving tomorrow and hopefully your grandma can come! FH is working so he came over early this morning and then went to his family's house for a while. We at out this year at the Davenport Press, it was actually very nice! Great food and service and reasonably priced.
