I called up STefan's florist to make an appointment but couldn't remember who I wanted to make the appt w/ (lost the paper).
She takes down my info and sets up date anyways - then at the end I remembered and she basically starting telling me 'That's why I asked who you wanted to speak with first because now i have to go back to the other book and change everything around'
Excuse me? What ARE you getting paid for. I'm thinking of forgetting this. You know what they say about first impressions -- are they rude there or was just this someone totally in a mood?

Knowing me, I would have said F*** YOU! and hung up. But, I have a short fuse and a potty mouth!!
Yes, she was DEFINITELY rude and if you still want to see the florist, I would make a point of informing him/her of the attitude you received.

My co-worker used the for her wedding, against her husband's wishes. They were extremely rude to them. But she liked their work. I would never use someone who was rude and neither would FI. He often says 'F this, I am outta here,' and leaves. I agree. If I am paying you good money, you better be nice to me.

Thanks - b/c I made it obvious that I just found the paper w/ the name of the person that someone recommended to me.
I think this sought of behavior is unacceptable - and reflect on the whole business.
I think I may cancel - argh!

That was definitely rude. I can't stand that! I wouldn't go to the appointment and I would let them know why. Customer service is very important.

I feel the same way. I was interested in this one hall but the people there are rude and never return your calls. Some girls put up with that because it's gorgeous and they really do beautiful weddings. But FH and I won't put up with that when I'm paying you money. Planning a wedding is stressful enough ... you shouldn't have to deal with attitudes on top of it. Just my opinion.
