This was me six months ago from today...

Can not believe it was six months ago that we got engaged!!!

Congrats on being engaged 6 months! We got engaged on Halloween, and our 6 month would have been in April, but there is not 31st in April!! Oh well!

i was reallly crying... and then the next day i had a total panic attack... 'IM GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!'

Ok..and here was my enagement story... I am feeling a little nostalgic today...

'My name is Lisa and I got engaged on November 20, 2004.

HOW IT HAPPENED!

FH and I live on opposite sides of the Hudson River and we often go into New York City to meet up.

We had decided a few weeks back to go see the play, The Producers, and FH bought us our tickets. We discussed where to go for dinner and finally decided on Little Italy at a restaurant called Pellegrino's.

That day, we met in Penn Station - the site of MANY meetings - and went to see the show. I got a call from work while we were on line and I thought it was going to ruin the whole day! But I handled it quickly and we took our seats. In retrospect, FH was a bit nervous. But I didn't see it... (who ever does?). At the end of the show, he dropped to the ground and I found out later he thought he LOST the ring! Whoa!

But he quickly recovered after I kicked him and we got sepereated out of the theatre...when we met up outside, we quickly walked to the train and headed downtown...

Pellegrino's is a wonderful restaurant and very romantic. We headed to our table and after I used the restroom, I found FH at a different table against the wall. This didn't phase me because he does this all the time - he always wants his back to the wall!

After a bottle of wine, calamari, veal and chicken, my boyfriend of almost 3 years proposed with a beautiful princess cut, trillion side stone diamond ring! Exactly what I wanted, but bigger and more sparkly than I ever thought possible.

We headed to get canolli at Ferrar's and kissed in the rain! When we walked into the bakery...the girl seating us goes... 'Watch out for the BLING BLING girl'

We called our parents and made our way back to Jersey. We celebrated with his friend and his mom with champagne. The next day, FH had arranged brunch with my parents and afterwards we headed back to Long Island to hang with my friends.

Congratulations!!! Time really flies!! It's been just about 6 months for us too! I can't beleive it already!!! Still seems so surreal!!
