What is everyone doing this weekend? I don't have any plans yet & I'm looking for suggestions.

DH and I are driving to Toronto . It's an 8hr drive from Chicago, so it will give us some time to talk. I didn't want to do the drive, but I'm looking forward to it now.... DH and I rarely have time to really talk about stuff bc he's so busy with work and school.
We got an awesome deal on Hotwire....$79/night at the Hilton

This weekend is my bachelorette party... FH is going to VA Beach with the guys for his BP .... and I am spending the weekend clubbing (oh yay... how original and fun) and paying for it and planning it all myself.

Cheer up!!! I'm sure you'll have a great time. Look at the bright side, by planning it yourself, it guarantees that you'll be going somewhere of your liking!! Are you going into the city or LI?

Me? Hmmmm, nothing! Hopefully I will be off Saturday, giving me a 3 day weekend!! Hopefully FH will have his much needed and regular Sun/Mon days off!

We're taking it easy. FH just got back from a 6-day bach party in Vegas and I partied like a rock star last weekend. We MIGHT picnic in Central Park with some friends if we can muster up the energy.

We're going to my parents on SI on Saturday for a BBQ, and Sunday night, the Rabbi who married us (who has known me since I was born) is taking us out to dinner at a really nice steakhouse in Great Neck!

Then on Labor day we're driving to Jersey to drop off Jim's car (the lease is up)

We are going to his parents beach house in Ocean City, NJ. I have only had 2 beach days this whole season, so I am really looking forward to soaking it in one last time.

I was thinking of going into the city & maybe spending some time in Central Park also, if I remember correctly, Labor Day weekend is very quiet in Manhatten, most people go to LI.
