I have heard about his work. My FH and I are working on a strict budget. Is it worth it for me to go see his work or is it too expensive? Does anyone know what the average price of his tiara's.

Re: Thomas Knoell
definately worth going to look, he has a lot of stuff and it varies ( a little) in price. his work is quality and beautiful, and about the same price as a lot of the stuff i saw in bridal shops that was half as nice and well made IMO. i spent about $600, but i got a lot of stuff for that price (large comb/3 hair sticks, and a brooch) . good luck!

His headpieces are a bit high, but it depends on the size you choose and the materials used. His pieces are amazing so you will definitely see something you like, but be prepared to spend a couple hundred dollars at least (but so worth it in my opinion).
Good luck and have fun.

his work is gorgeous and if you go see his stuff... i'd be very surprised if you walked out empty handed. If you're on a strict budget... i'd say don't go. BUT he does have some hair pins that are very pretty and around $60 or earrings for that much too! But if you want a tiara or headpiece... be prepared to spend tons of $$$.
Coming from one budget bride to the next... i'd say go for it. I didn't really splurge on anything for this wedding or myself and they're pieces that you can wear again for the most part or that you can hand down to your daughter some day. So i say treat yourself!

I posted yesterday or the day before with a picture of mine, but i spent $650 on it and i wouldnt go if you're not prepared to drop at least 300. They range from around 300-600 or so. But the quality is amazing and they are so light and comfortable to wear. Its as though you are not even wearing one.

I spent more than that and mine wasn't even a tiara, it was a headband!!! Very expensive, but it was my splurge for myself. It is gorgeous.

I agree...something I had to think about was..if you are spending this much money already, why let it go to crap and compromise on how YOU will look? JMO

I didn't buy a Thomas Knoell. I knew that I wouldn't want to spend that kind of money on my headpiece.
If you are not prepared to spend it - I wouldn't go to the store. You can find lovely headpieces for a lot less than $600.
I know I can get swept up in a moment and I might end up buying something that might be out of my price range if the mood strikes. It would be a shame to have buyer's remorse over something you are wearing on your special day.
I am not trying to offend any TK brides. I am just suggesting if this price is out of your range - don't go there - nothing else will live up to your expectations.

i agree. i would have also gotten caught up in the moment and bought one regardless of if i could afford it.
most headpieces are light--that's not a thomas knoell exclusive feature. i couldn't feel mine the entire night and it was beautifully made and so sparkly in pictures.
if you love the style and can spend $$$, go for it!! but there's many more headpieces that are just as beautiful for much less. good luck!

I bought my tiara from Tri-County for $50 and had a veil custom made there as well for $75. Good Luck!
