I didn't feel that way about him AT ALL!!! I showed him a picture of my dress and the hair style I am going to have and he suggested 3 or 4 pieces and I told him the one I loved from his site and I tried that on eon too but he was right in the ones he picked for me. He explained why it woulr work best. My mom, FMIL and I loved him.

Not at all! In fact, I was probably the one that was 'pushy' about what I liked and what I didn't like. He saw a pic of my dress and hair style and made several suggestions - I either went with them or shot them down - he picked up very quickly on the look I was going for and I'm soo happy with all the pieces I ordered! I loved him!!

Re: Thomas Knoell vent
well my mother in law loved him, but I couldn't understand why.
I thought he was full of cr*p.
he actually made the statement 'I am very talented. I have a gift' who says that about themselves? he also wouldn't let me try on everything I wanted because he said he knows what looks best on me. So I wasn't allowed to try some stuff on. And he just kept repeating how hes not pressuring me over and over again (as he pressures me in the same breathe). Thats like classic salesmanship 1-0-1. Say it enough times and they might believe you, then you can do the opposite.
I was so aggrivated I had to leave eventhough i really wanted to buy a peice, he was just annoying the hell out of me.
well I guess thats my full vent

i'm really sorry about that. i had a decent experience there. but i didn't have a good experience with a very popular photographer on the boards, so it happens.

I had a positive experience with him. Showed him my dress & hairstyle, he showed me 3-4 pieces, I was allowed to try on the one I eventually purchased. I also bought matching earrings and he even pulled out alcohol and cotton so I could sterilize the earrings and try them on (I didn't) I can't imagine him not letting you try on the pieces!! I thought he was nice to work with.
Honestly....ALL the wedding vendors I have met with are a little pushy/talkative. I can deal with this though if I feel comfortable with them and know that they will get the job done.
