Thomas Paul

Hi,
I really want to book my photographer this week. Does anyone have any recent quotes from Thomas Paul that you can share? I heard he is expensive so I'm not sure if I should even bother going there. Thanks so much!

I think you should email him and ask about pricing. I'm a TP bride and he was really middle of the road pricing for 2009. JMO but you get what you pay for with photographers.

I suggest you call him...I find I reach him faster over the phone

He gave me a price before I even made the trek out to see him

I agree... I sent him an email last night around midnight and he literally just called me to give me a price quote.

Have any TP Brides worked with either Tony or Brian before??

ITA!

I used him, and I found he was pretty good with working with your budget. We basically said this is our 'we do not want to spend over number' and he told us what we could get for that amount.

i am not sure, i booked him 2 years ago but my cousin who was recently engaged and called him for her wedding next june got a significantly less quote than what we are paying... not sure if i should say something

Is Tom himself taking your photos and her photos? Maybe if he's having Tony or Brian do hers, he's charging less?

I was unaware until this thread that Tom had associates that he booked people with if he was unavailable... I thought it was just him!

No my cousin said she spoke to him over the phone and he gave her that quote, and apparently, he was willing to negotiate w/ her lower if she came in to see him... but she ended up booking w/ someone else.. now i dont know if i should say anything or just let it lie.

I haven't seen work specifically by Tony or Brian, that I know of anyway, so I can't vouch for them... I guess you'd have to see their specific work to know or not. I think it's worth a visit to his office.

ETA, you need to be super comfortable with your choice though, so I'd give him a visit but if you're still uneasy about it after that but comfortable with another studio, then go with your gut. That's important.

OK ladies, I just need to tell you, I had a concern, called Tom and he called me RIGHT back. On a Sunday. When his office does not have hours.

Just a reminder... take everyone's reviews with a grain of salt. If you're interested in someone, go see them and let what they tell you and show you and your gut decide for you. You have to make your own decision.
