Has anyone used or heard of these photographers? My goal is to make the photographer the first vendor we book. Thanks for any feedback you are able to give me.

Thomas Paul is amazing, all the pictures i have seen so far on here through brides that have used him are amazing. And the albums in his office are also amazing. I booked him, i love his work.

What is the standard deposit that photographers look for when you book? Were his prices reasonable or on the higher side? Thanks for the feedback!

his prices were more reasonable than other photo/video we looked at, which were all preferred vendors of our hall-the preferred vendors were all higher than him. and i love his work more than all those vendors. we booked him for both photo/video so we had to put a deposit of $1000 ($500 for each)

Thomas Paul!!!! FH and I met with both, and we felt Thomas Pauls work was amazing and more of what we wanted, plus he's a genuinely nice guy.

thomas paul's pictures are not really my style, and i have never heard of the other photographer. if you are first starting your search, i would also consider:

I know an 08 bride used them, I think she just got married tho but she has her e-pics in her album. Not sure her name tho.
To be honest, I think Thomas Paul takes beautiful pictures but I am not a fan of the effects that he adds to his pictures at all.

I am using TP and I felt that everything about him was better. I love his pictures (including the effects) . He is great and just plain nice.
My sister used TimeXposures....the pics came out good. You hardly knew they were there. As for her album...she didnt get it yet. I didnt book them because I was looking into more of a photojournalistic style.

I used TP, never looked into TimeXposures...
I can't wait for my proofs, but Tom knows that I am not into those special effects so he won't do them. At least he has it available for those who like it!

Wow. Sounds like Thomas Paul is someone I need to speak with. Thanks so much for all the feedback. Helps me narrow my search. Know that a lot of photographers just show their absolute best so you never know exactly what you are going to get.

Thomas Paul is very popular on this site, he does amazing work and he has a great personality. FH and I booked him on the spot also.

I just wanted to add that TP does have a ton of special effects, but he only uses them on about 5-7 pictures out of the 1000's that he takes...

I booked TimeXposures and have had a great experience with them so far. Jon is great - i love his work and he is really great to deal with.
He worked with our budget and was super quick to answer all my questions.
I know he isnt as well known as the others - but definately check him out.

Spoke with Thomas Paul and he was very nice. Talking to 4 others as well. Hoping to negotiate a little since I'm on a tight budget. Didn't realize this was going to be such a hard decision!
