Thomas Paul Photography

I saw that a lot of ladies recomended him in other threads but I only found one review of his company.

Can any of you tell me your experiences with him? Why you did or did not book him after meeting him?
Would you be willing to share your package and price with me?
Have any of you used him for your video as well?

I LOOOOVE his work, and we met with him last night. Just want to see what other people have to say about him before officially booking.

I am using Thomas Photography! I booked with him earlier this month. I loved his work and felt really comfortable with him. There is a bride in the 07 chat that recently had her engagement pictures done by him. Blew me away. If you have any questions feel free to FM me.

His work is AMAZING! he answered the door in jeans a tshirt and socks and i dug him right then and there.
i love how laid back yet confident he is. i dont feel like he'll be barking orders at us or my guests for photos.

we're meeting with other photographers tomorrow so i think it'll give me a better idea of cost and what not. since he's the only photographer i've phsyically met wtih i have no idea if his fees are reasonable or not

We booked with him too. His work was really cool and he is willing to go above and beyond. He's down to earth and I'm sure my pics will be just right. He even had a lot of things other photographers didnt mention. We already have a tentative date for our engagement shoot. Very impressed!

HAHA I loved that too. I love also that you walk into his house and his high school portraits are on the wall. He was laid back and my fiance and I hit it off with him. I have my engagment shoot with him next month. I think his work speaks for himself and was much more impressed with him than the other bigger photo places. And he gave us much more for our money and worked with our budget. I also booked the guy he recommended for video.. Elite.

He is great! I know quite a few people who used him, and all their pics came out great! We didn't even look at anyone else's work. We are actually shooting our epics this Thursday. I'll post them as soon as I get them back.

OOOO Let me know how the shoot goes.

He made us promise to look at other photographers so that we werent going in blind. I thought that was pretty cool.
I also LOVE the fact that you get an album and a brag book from the engagement shoot.

I booked Thomas Paul too!

I think we can all agreed his work speaks for itself! I was blown away when I looked at his stuff. More than that though, I just like the guy! I think he really cares about his product and his craft. I got such a good vibe from him and you just cannot account for personality. This is one area where I have no doubt that I booked the best vendor out there.

I referred him to a friend and she booked him so I got to see him in action at their wedding and he was terrific. She referred him to another friend and that friend booked him too. That is just the way it goes.

Another Thomas Paul bride here!
He was the second photographer I met with and we booked with him the following week. My mom and I felt very comfortable with him, he's just very down to earth. Loved his work, and he's just very attentive. I can't wait to schedule my epic shoot!

Another Thomas Paul bride here. Why did I book him? LOVED him from the moment he returned my call. Loved his laid back personal;ity and easy going nature, but insane attention to detail at the same time. His work is amazing. Unfortunately, one of his other photographers is shooting our wedding (Jon Santos), but his work is sos imilar to Tom's. And Tom made sure I was comfortable with his work before booking. He didn't expect us to book when we met him, but we did. We met with others and they just didn't compare, especially in photographic quality. And of course, the major deciding facotr was the amount he gave us for such an amazing price. I've posted it on her before, but if you want details, FM me.

Oh, also, he was one of the first few vendors we booked, and the ONLY one to call me so far just to check in and see how things were going. He got SUCH bonus points for that.

We discussed video with him as well and had him include it in his proposal but I don't think he mentioned Elite. I'm not sure if he did and i was too busy looking around the room at all the awsome photos he had on the walls or if maybe he's doing it within his own company as well?

Would you be comfortable sharing your package and price with me?
Have you met with Elite for your video? Any reviews would be great for that. I'm at such a total loss when it comes to booking vendors.

I meet with him a couple of weeks ago at Penn Station. His work is great, good prices, good video, quality of pics were good. He is a really cool guy. I have not booked with him bec, I am still looking to see a couple of other photograhers before I decide

I booked him as well, and for the same reasons that others have mentioned - we felt most comfortable with him, he seemed really relaxed, but still very professional, his work was beautiful, and he offered a lot of things that others didn't, for a really good price.

I also really appreciate that he's the only vendor who has called us just to check in - and he was GREAT about being patient when it took us a little while to get him the deposit, and held the date for us anyway (FH's parents said they'd pay for the photography, and then were a bit slow in getting moving on sending over the deposit... but that's a whole other issue).

I really want to do my engagement shoot soon, but I've put on a lot of weight, and I need to take it off before we do any pictures, plus FH hurt his hand and so we want to wait until it's out of the brace before we take pictures... probably july or august we'll do it.

I'm glad to hear though that others are using him and it's going well... he seemed like a bit of an unknown when I booked him a year ago, so I'm glad he's gaining in popularity!

i also booked with him. He was like the 10th photographer we saw and we finally got that 'it' feeling when we met him! and when we pulled up to his house, the first thing fh said was that he had a good feeling about this one. We booked him the very next week and we are so exicted to have him as our photographer. Plus we get a second photographer too - and his prices are so reasonable - we get the two photographers for about the same prices and even a little less than what we were being quoted at other studios for just one photographer.

we didnt want any parent albums, but i totally fell in love with the mini brag books (they are just too darn cute!) and he was like, 'i'll just throw two of those in for your parents, they should have something.' so nice!

we are getting a hi-res dvd, and if you want to make prints his printing places gives us 10% off.

ummm...what else. besides that he is just so nice, we felt really really confortable, like we could totally hang out with guy whenever, so i wouldn't mine having him around my entire or working with him after. that's one thing to keep in mind - you will have to work with this person after the wedding day has long come and gone.

sorry, this has turned out so long, but our process to find a photographer was sooo long, that I cant help but say how happy we are to have found one that we love!

I'm sure you're going to love him...he is giving us a couple of high-res DVDs also. He's awesome! We have our e-pics scheduled in two weeks....I can't wait!
