I tried calling two places and they both will not quote Thomasville furniture prices without us actually going to NC.
Did anyone else experience this? Has anyone bought Thomasville pieces from a NC outlet? Is Thomasville the only company that places these restrictions?

Re: Thomasville and NC furniture outlets ...
Not sure if this will help but, I wanted a price on a Baker bedroom set from NC and since I couldn't go to the actual showroom they wouldn't give me a price over the phone unless I was a 'customer.' So I bought a wood fabric cleaner rag for $3.00 and I became a customer and was able to get a quote.

I got prices for a Thomasville set over the phone but it was about a year or so ago. Plus my MIL used them so they considered us an existing customer. I never heard that before.

Cira, I was told the same thing 4 years ago when we were shopping for the bedroom set. I couldnt beleive you had to be there in person to shop... or nothing.
I had a very hard time finding outlets that would sell Thomasville.. So we just bought it from the Thomasville store. It does seem to be one of the only mfr's with this restriction.
