Thos who have been to Italy

Where cities did you visit and what was the order?

We will probably be there for 2.5 weeks.

We are thinking:
Flying into Milan, staying there for a day,
Lake Como
Venice
Tuscany Region (Florence...probably staying there fr 5 days and doing day trips to the other areas of Tuscany)
Rome
Amalfi Coast area (probably staying in Sorrento and day trips to all the other towns, ie. Positano)

Our travel agent is working on it, and may make adjustments.

Also, any hotels that were amazing?

My DH lived in Northern Italy for 7 years, he's not familiar with Sourthern Italy (Amalfi region).
So any recommendations on hotels would be great!

We honeymooned in Italy and did Rome, Capri and Positano.

I loved Capri. We stayed at the Hotel Punta Tragara and I would love to go back there. It was just amazing. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the Faraglioni rocks and it was breathtaking!

We went to Venice and Cinque Terra on our honeymoon.

Cinque Terra was paradise- excellent swimming, beaches, food, touring- we sat by the water with bread, cheese and wine- nice hotels too!

My DH specifically talked about Cinque Terra a few nights ago, saying how beautiful it is!
